Mark Rubin serves as Compliance Attorney at LHP Law Group, bringing more than 30 years of deep expertise in professional responsibility and legal discipline. His role ensures that the firm operates to the highest standards of the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct — a responsibility that takes on added significance given LHP Law Group's status as an Arizona Registered Alternative Business Structure (ABS).
Mark earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1981 and his B.A. in History from Beloit College in 1978. His career has been defined by deep involvement in the governance of the Arizona legal profession. He chaired the Disciplinary Commission of the Arizona Supreme Court and participated in the rewriting of Arizona's Rules of Professional Conduct between 2001 and 2003. He has served on multiple State Bar of Arizona ethics committees over the course of his career.
In addition to his compliance role at LHP Law Group, Mark serves as General Counsel for Pima Medical Institute and operates Southern Arizona Fiduciary Services LLC as a licensed fiduciary. He has chaired the Tucson Supplemental Retirement System board for the past five years and founded Social Venture Partners Tucson.
Mark provides consulting and testifying expert witness services for plaintiffs, defendants, and the State Bar in professional responsibility and legal malpractice matters, and represents lawyers in disciplinary proceedings.
